Caroling at the VA Hospital

Client Connection

One of SFG’s beloved traditions is caroling at our local Veterans Hospital, which we have been doing for nine years. Each December we gather our spouses and children to sing Christmas carols to (and with) the veterans at the hospital. This year we sang throughout the hospital’s CLC Inpatient Hospice Unit. Several veterans joined in and sang merrily with us.

Additionally, we gave handmade cards from students at Mountain View Montessori School to the veterans and thanked them for their service as we moved through the halls. The contact we’ve been working with to organize this event through the years thanked us for our continued commitment and honored SFG with a Certificate of Excellence this year. We couldn’t be more grateful to spend this time lifting a few spirits and seeing the veterans smile and sing along with us. If you’re inclined to join us next year, we’d love to have you!
