Russ and Vicki just returned from their trip to France. Even while on vacation, they always look for ways to improve their intellectual capital and increase their historical knowledge. While in France, they had the opportunity to visit Normandy and learn about World War II. It was a very emotional experience. Russ and Vicki learned about D-Day as they toured Omaha and Utah beaches, cemeteries, and several other sites.

D-Day was June 6, 1944. Although 75 years have passed since the historical invasion, let us always remember the soldiers who fought and died for our freedom. Our lives would be different today if the invasion of France’s Calvados coast was not successful.
