We are pleased to announce that Alyssa (Yocom) Dalbey, CFP® recently earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification. Alyssa is only one of nine financial services professionals in Reno to have obtained the CPWA® certification and only one of two women in Reno to obtain the certification.
The CPWA® designation is an advanced professional certification for advisors who provide the breadth of specialized skills required to meet the needs of high-net-worth clients. The CPWA® certification education program was conducted in partnership with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
To earn the certification, which is issued by the Investments & Wealth Institute®, CPWA® professionals must meet a five-year experience requirement, successfully complete coursework in advanced wealth management strategies, and pass a comprehensive examination covering eleven core topics including applied behavioral finance, charitable giving, estate planning, and wealth transfer. To maintain certification, CPWA® professionals must meet ongoing continuing education requirements and adhere to the Institute’s Code of Professional Responsibility.
“Schultz Financial Group is committed to investing in our team – our human capital is our greatest asset,” said Russ Schultz, Founder and CEO. “Alyssa’s completion of the CPWA® program and all her other education demonstrates her commitment to the fee-only profession and to our clients. We are proud to recognize Alyssa for her significant achievement.”
